If you aren’t familiar with Juice Plus+…Please read this post first.
I’m not new to the customer side of Juice Plus+, but I am new to the distributor side which is why I decided to attend the 2011 Spring Juice Plus+ Leadership Conference in Long Beach, CA this past March. After meeting the most amazing people and learning so much more about the product, I am determined to get the word out!
First, let me start by introducing you to the man behind the product…Jay Martin. A man who captivates you by his stories and his big heart. Juice Plus+ was introduced 18 years ago and he has stood behind the product since Day 1. While Jay, is quite the inspiration, he leaves the real inspiring stories to the distributors and this one in particular grabbed my attention….
This is Melissa Keyt. You would’ve thought that Melissa was a hired motivational speaker, but her motivation was far deeper than a good wage….Melissa learned about Juice Plus+ on the day her husband died of cancer. Her motivation to tell every one about Juice Plus+ is by “what might have been” and “trying to help others avoid the tragedies we’ve endured”. There wasn’t a dry eye in the place when Melissa went on by saying “I obviously can’t know for sure that better nutrition and a healthier lifestyle would have saved my husband’s life. But the scientific evidence is clear: a diet rich in nutrition from fruits and vegetables reduces the risk of cancer and other chronic diseases”. I’d say, more than any of the other speakers, Melissa has motivated me the most.
Juice Plus+ changes peoples lives. Its a product that we stand behind with pride, it is something we as distributors enjoy talking about, and Juice Plus+ helps dreams become a reality. When a distributor reaches the highest level called National Marketing Director, families are invited to celebrate in the triumph of all their hard work. This is where inspiration and fun are combined!
Look at all of those Nation Marketing Directors!
Can you sense the energy in this room?
Even some Pro Athletes took some time out of their busy training schedules to come down and talk to the thousands of us….Below are two Olympic Volleyball players who sang their praises for all that Juice Plus has done for them.
The fun really kicked off on the first night with Dave O’Brien. Maybe it was because he’s Irish and it was St. Patrick’s Day, but the man is 57 years old and he has more energy than a 5 year old. He captures the attention of his audience immediately and holds you to the end wanting more! You have to watch a highlight video of him where he becomes the oldest man to finish the “4 Deserts” race in one year. If nothing else, listen to him speak before he competed in the race…I promise it will be worth it…you’ll get a ton of laughs in :)
So here is Dave along with his pose of team Juice Plus+ who competed the races together along with filmmaker Jennifer Steinman, who endured the hottest, coldest, driest, and windiest deserts on Earth to capture these athletes at their best and at their worst.
Guess who also showed up to talk about Juice Plus+? Dr. Jim Sears from the TV show “The Doctors”! I wish I could’ve filmed what he had to say, but here is a clip from the TV show. I scored big time by being able to sit in the front row and not only listen to all the good things Dr. Sears had to say, but to get some really tight shots.
And, saving the best for last is Bear Grylls. Some might recognize him from the book he wrote called “The Kid Who Climbed Everest”…Its an amazing story! But most will recognize him from Discovery Channel’s “Man Vs. Wild” where Bear shows you how to survive in the worst conditions…and also where he eats everything…if you don’t have a weak stomach check out this video. If you do have a weak stomach, might I suggest “Live Life to the Plus+”.
Bear showed us this great slideshow/film of his climb up Everest. I now have the highest respect for people who not only make it to the top but even for those who have a mere thought of conquering the mountain.
Bear also talked a great deal about Juice Plus+ and how long its been in his life – since he was a teenager!
My highlight was getting my book signed from him! After the conference Bear happened to be at the same restaurant I was, so I completely broke etiquette and asked for his John Hancock, but only because it was for my husband who is currently serving in Afghanistan…Lets just say Bear and my husband have a lot in common and he was happy to sign :)
So, I’m already planning for the upcoming Juice Plus+ Fall Leadership Conference in Tennessee this October. You should plan on coming too! But be sure to get there early and save your self a seat…bring a sweater or jacket to drape over your chair, or leave a banana peel…whatever you do…get there :)
And I promise you, you’ll have a great time!

And I ended it laughing so hard at the banana peel!! hehe…Don’t let me forget my banana in Memphis!!
